As your Madera County Superintendent of Schools, it is an honor to serve the Madera County community. Public education is a foundation upon which we build our workforce and our futures. Schools are a gateway for economic success for individuals and their families. For me it is and has always been “all about the children.”
Leaderslhip
I have demonstrated proven leadership in my career with the Madera County Superintendent of Schools for over thirty years. Working closely with the nine school districts in Madera County and Charter Schools continues to give me the opportunity to be familiar with the unique needs of the various communities of interest within the districts. I understand the issues that impact rural schools.
Making important decisions on personnel, budgets, curriculum and instruction were and continue to be critical during these tough economic times. I am proud to say the Madera County Superintendent of Schools team has kept its focus on children, programs and services.
Experience
I have been fortunate to have served as your Madera County Superintendent of Schools for 11 years working with all of the school districts and charter schools throughout Madera County.
My experience includes serving on various state and local educational boards and committees working to provide support our students, teachers, while remaining financially responsible to the Madera County community.
